Direct Counsel
Thirty minutes that move you forward.
Direct Counsel is a 1:1 advisory session with me, focused entirely on the question or decision in front of you.
Three types of sessions available, each designed for a specific moment in your property or estate planning journey.
-
You are preparing to buy and you want a solicitor's perspective before you go further.
Strategic guidance for clients preparing to purchase, covering the purchase process, offer strategy, and the decisions you will face along the way.
This session is about approaching your purchase with a clear head and a solicitor's perspective before you commit. We discuss what to look for, how to position yourself, and where the legal risks tend to sit in a residential transaction. If you are ready to make an offer, we can work through that together during the session.
-
You have a contract in front of you and you want to understand it before you make an offer or sign.
A focused, guided walkthrough of a residential property contract of sale, reviewed together during the session so you understand what you're signing, what matters, and what to watch out for. We work through the contract with you in real time, covering key provisions, conditions, and anything that warrants your attention before you commit.
-
You know you need to get your affairs in order. You are not sure where to start. Or perhaps you have something in place, but life has changed and you are not sure it still holds up.
A strategic discussion to clarify where your actually stand: what you have, what you're missing, and whether what you have in place is doing what you think it is.
We cover your estate planning position, including any business interests, and how everything fits together. Most people come to this session unsure where to start; they leave with a clear picture of what they need, why it matters, and what to do next. You leave with clarity, a clear sense of priorities, and a practical path forward.
